Douglas Reick Douglas Reick, age 75 of Portage, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage.   Memorial funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage with Pastor Daniel Kelm officiating. Visitation will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M.   Douglas was born November 28, 1937 in Portage, the son of Alfred and Evelyn (McQueen) Reick. In May of 1976 he married Margarert Johnson. Doug had worked for the Frank Fruit Company, Gunderson Construction and for the Portage Public Works Department for 31 years until his retirement in December of 1999. Douglas was a dedicated member of St. John's Lutheran Church and every Saturday evening for over the past 25 years he diligently served as an usher.   Douglas is survived by his wife, Margaret; a son, James Reick of Portage; a daughter, Jean (Tom Clayton) Reick of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Robert "Robbie" (Tabitha) Reick and Julie Ann Reick; several great grandchildren; a brother, Harold "Bill" (Karen) Reick of Caldwell, Idaho; sisters, Judy (Phillip) Rygiewicz of Portage and Pauline Miner of Bella Vista, Arkansas; other relatives, nieces, nephews and many friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John; a brother, Charles and a sister, Neva Fisher.   The Picha Funeral Home and Crematory of Portage, Wisconsin assisted the family with arrangements.
