Donald Bernard Ptaschinski, age 88 years, of Portage died on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Divine Savior Extended Care in Portage. He was born on August 17, 1922 to Bernard and Edith (Donahue) Ptaschinski. Don served in the US Navy during World War II. He later was married to Jean Homley. Don was a clerk at the Social Security Office before his retirement. His wishes were to have his cremains scattered in the Pacific Ocean with a memorial service being held at a later date.
