Donald Patrick Connors, age 75 years of Mount Horeb, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born on February 13, 1936 in Pine Bluff to James and Margaret (McDonald) Connors. Don graduated from Mount Horeb High School in 1954, served in the United States Army from 1957 - 1959. He had owned Don C. Liquor Store in Middleton for 12 years and then worked as a salesman for 25 years at Interstate Brand Corp. selling hostess cakes and wonder bread. He also was an avid golfer, volunteered driving senior citizens and loved to "go on drives." Survivors include 3 children - Christine (Steve) Lewis of Madison, Corinne (Dean) Circo of Cottage Grove and Brian (Marjorie) Connors of Mount Horeb; 4 Grandchildren - Stephanie, Alexis, Breanna and Sylvia; brother - James P. (Mary Ann) Connors of Mount Horeb and his best friend - Joyce Garfoot of Mount Horeb. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son in law - Bill. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Picha Funeral Home, Portage with Father James Murphy officiating.
