Donald W. Bagley age 75 of Montello, WI. died on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, peacefully with his wife and daughter holding his hand. Don was born on May 6, 1949, the son of Hollis and Mary (Kleist) Bagley. Don was known for his ability to fix just about anything. He gained his education not by books, but by doing. He moved to Willow's California as a young adult and gained a wealth of knowledge doing maintenance. Don Married Debbie J. Peterson on December 1, 1973 in Pardeeville, WI Don enjoyed time spent with family and friends, playing any card game. His passion was a jack of all trades. Don enjoyed spending hours in his brother Hollis's Barn that was converted into a wood and workshop. Don loved to tinker; he loved John Deere. He restored a John Deere tractor that was his pride and joy, now he was working on a build named Pokie. Don worked in his shop many hours with his brother Hollis, who preceded him in death exactly one year to the day. Don was employed and retired from Davis Construction. Don is survived by his wife Debbie, Daughter Lola Bagley; Brother Jack (Janelle) Bagley; sister Anne Weinberger; granddaughter Ashley (Taylor) Lyons, great grandchildren Everleigh, Easton and Kasyn. Sister-in-law Ruth Peterson (boyfriend Bill Meylor; brothers-in-law Stanley (Denise) Peterson and Stewart (Lori) Peterson; sister-in-law Peggy (John) Gray. Don's beloved pet Susie Q. Don was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Helen and Marylou and a brother Hollis. Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday July 9, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Moundville United Methodist Church in Endeavor, Wisconsin. Public visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Rev. Jim Cotter will be officiating.
