Portage, Wisconsin Diane Mae Carney age 79 of Portage, WI, died on Wednesday November 5, 2025.

Diane was born on March 26, 1946, in Chicago, IL to John and Mary (Jakubowski) Madej.

Diane Married Richard Carney on December 26, 1964. They then moved to Texas and assisted in the running of an orange grove. Later they moved back to Montello, WI and owned and operated a liquor store.

Diane was a lifelong Cubs fan.

Family was the most important thing for Diane, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her two daughters; Deann (Kurt Christian) Gray; Dawn (Terry) Schneller. Grandchildren; Richard (Miranda) Bednarek, Tyler (Friend Caitlyn) Bednarek, Marissa Bednarek and Kristina Schneller. Also survived by seven great grandchildren; Aria, Brooklyn, Mila, Vira, Eleanor, Amelia, Rilyn. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard and a brother Robert Madej.

Diane' s wishes were to have no formal service at this time.
