Portage, WI  Dennis Thayer Roseleip, 48 of Portage, WI, Passed away peacefully March 13, 2015, at University Hospital in Madison.  Dennis was born February 10, 1967 at St. Michaels Hospital in Milwaukee to Dennis G. and Kathleen (Thayer) Roseleip.  In 1987, the family moved to a farm in Lewiston Township. In 1988, Dennis graduated from Portage High School in Special Education. After graduation Dennis worked at Columbian Industries, The flower Company and had been active in the Special Olympics.  Dennis loved the parties he had with his family and friends; he enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. Dennis loved country music, recording his voice, reading the newspaper and his books. He liked to watch the old TV programs. Dennis was very good with puppets, especially The Count. Dennis enjoyed going out to eat at his favorite places.  Besides his parents, Dennis is survived by aunts and uncles, Beverly (Robert) Anderson; Darlington, Judy (Jon) McGettigan, Windsor; Marie Pribbenow; Poynette, Celia Forsty; Tomahawk, Cousins, Richard( Karen) Anderson; West Bend, Debbie (Leo) Timms, Ames Iowa, Diane (Randy) Hardyman; Darlington, Darcy (Oscar) Aviler, Middleton, Dana (Andrew) Villamagna; Seminole, Florida, Michael (Amy) McGettigan; Poynette, Miles (Misty) McGettigan;  Madison, Jon Paul (Rhonda) McGettigan; Lodi,  Bobbie Shore; Madison, Rick (Sheila) Dunn;  Madison, Roxanne (Deon) Burgard; Poynette, Terry (Gary) Kurtz; Lodi,  Joe Pobjoy; Eagle River, Lani (Bill) Swanson; Kewaunee, several second and third cousins.  Dennis is also survived by his many wonderful and caring friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Ruth Roseleip and Ervin and Mary Thayer, His uncles, Jack Dunn, Bill Pribbenow, Marv Forsty, his cousins, B.J. Pribbenow and Tammy Pobjoy, his special friends, John and Dorothy Collins.  Dennis' family would like to thank Dr. Escobedo, Darrell Parker and all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Divine Savior for caring for Dennis over the years. Also special thanks to JoAnne Sparks and her staff for all the spiritual support given to our family during Dennis' illness.  Dennis is gone from our lives but ever present in our hearts.  A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Picha Funeral Home in Portage www.pichafh.com with public visitation one hour prior to the service.   Service Details.
