David "Pete" M. Adams, age 77 years, died on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1932 in Milwaukee to Darius and Martha (Hopp) Adams. Pete was a fireman and engineer for the West Allis Fire Department before retiring to Montello. He enjoyed making people laugh and singing. Survivors include his wife, Marlene of Montello; 8 children, Mark (Ann) Adams of Tomahawk, Dale Adams of Milwaukee, David Adams of South Haven, Mississippi, Lynn (Bruce) Redlin of New Berlin, Kathy Cruz of Milwaukee, Dee Dee (Steven) Baker of Milwaukee, Debbie (Robert) Tate of Milwaukee and Darin Brill of Milwaukee: 9 grandchildren, Mitchell, Justin, Joseph, David, Austin, Antonio, Joshua, Erika and Nicholas; 8 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Jack (Vivian) Adams of Seattle and Ben (Betty) Adams of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Alan and Dan and a sister, Marcella. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Montello with Father Michael Richel officiating.
