Obituary

Dakota Marie Marlow, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan 1st in Portage, WI. Dakota was born on July, 26, 1999 in Baraboo, WI to Sarah Cook and Jeff Marlow. Growing up, Dakota enjoyed fishing, riding on the back of her papa's Harley and also crotch rockets with her dad, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She always looked forward to the annual "cousin's trip" at Yogi Bear's. She had the most incredibly beautiful, contagious laugh. She was extremely silly and loved to make others laugh as well. She had love for animals like no other. There wasn't a kitten or puppy she didn't try to bring home. Dakota blessed her family in more ways than she'll ever know and was cherished by those lucky enough to have known her. She will be sorely missed as a life that was cut too short. She is survived by Mother, Sarah and Father, Jeff, Brothers; Myles Marlow and AJ Helgestad and Sister Lalah Marlow. She is further survived by Great Grandmothers Vivian Kann and Dorothy Cook, Grandparents; Charles & Cindy Cook, Kristina Andersen, Aunts; Jennifer (Douglas) Bartz, Donnielle Premetz and Michelle Cook, Uncles; Troy Phillips, Devin Pickens and Jason Marlow. Cousins; Destiny Phillips and Makenna Castleman, as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Colin McIntyre, her great grandfathers; Kenneth Kann and Donald Cook. "There was no time to say goodbye But this I ask - please do not cry Remember me as you think best The happy time - forget the rest."                         -Tara L. Collacchi Private family services will be held. Service Details. This will be by invitation only.
