Corinne Mildred Dieckow, age 89 years of Portage, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Divine Savior Extended Care in Portage. She was born on March 26, 1921 in Portage to Myrtle R. Dieckow. Corinne was an entertainer beginning her career by singing on WIBU radio station and later toured many night clubs including those in Philadelphia, New York, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Miami. Corinne is survived by family, friends and by her kitten - Sweetie. She was preceded in death by her Mother and her Grandparents - Carl Fredrick and Henrietta Dieckow. Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Tom Moe officiating at the Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage. Service Details.
