Clarice Rachel (Meekma) Krueger died on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at the Columbia County Health Care Facility in Wyocena, WI She was born on Feb. 3, 1927 in Watertown, WI to James and Grace (Buursma) Meekma. Clarice is survived by a brother James (Geraldine) Meekma of Lansing, IL; four sisters Catherine Atkinson of Oregon, WI; Eiveline Phillips of Monroe, WI; Jane (Lawrence) Michaelis of Black Earth, WI; Amy (Dale) Bornick of Whitewater, WI and many nieces, nephews and friends. Also a very special friend Liz Belmore and her family. Clarice is preceded in death by her parents; a son Dennis Wayne Krueger and a brother Peter Meekma. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the Kratz Funeral Home at 302 East Conant Street in Portage, WI Rev. David Hankins will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. till time of service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be follow services at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Portage.
