Obituary

Clarence Alfred Baker, 83 years of Portage died on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Tivoli at Divine Savior in Portage.  He was born on January 18, 1930 in Portage to Frank and Clara (Krinke) Baker.  Clarence was united in marriage to Olive McDonald on October 31, 1965 in Las Vegas.  He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Portage.  Clarence had worked for the City of Portage Street Dept. for 37 years, enjoyed gardening, selling vegetables out of his garden, hunting and fishing.  He had also served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Survivors include his wife Olive of Portage, sister in law LV Baker of Portage, nephew Larry (Debra) Baker of Portage, a niece Sandy Jonas of Lyndon Station, 2 sisters in law Iris (Robert) Brigham of Madison & Barbara (Darwin) Wolfgram of Lake Havasu, AZ and 2 brothers in law Philip (Sue) McDonald of Portage & Donald (Myra) McDonald of Lake Havasu, AZ, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brother's Arnold and Edward.  Private committal services will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Portage.  Service Details.
