Arthur Christopher August Koepp, age 101 years, died on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. He was born on May 24, 1909 in Ashley, North Dakota to Emil and Anna (Westphal) Koepp. Arthur was united in marriage on February 6, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Edna Radtke. He worked as a crane operator for over 45 years for Manley Sand Company and then Unimin Sand Pit. Art enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, bowling and mainly being outdoors. Survivors include - His loving wife of 76 years, Edna of Pardeeville; Daughter - Betty (Jerry) Schmidt of Pardeeville; Son in Law - Robert Holmes of Portage, 6 Grandchildren - Laurie, Sharon, Mike, Lyn, Mark and Ed; Many Great Grandchildren and Many Great Great Grandchildren; Brother - Lawrence Koepp of De Forest; 2 Step-sisters - Beatrice Oasen of Madison and Elizabeth Traut of Portage, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by Parents - Emil and Anna, Step-mother - Merle, a Daughter - Shirley Holmes, Brothers - Earl and Wallace, Great Grandson - Aaron and 2 Great Great Grandchildren - Caitlyn and Lincoln. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Portage United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Countryman officiating.
