Ardella "Kay" Wall, age 70 years of Portage died on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on May 2, 1940 at the Al Ringling Hospital in Baraboo to Alfred and Della (Wilcox) Marshall. On October 26, 1963 Kay was united in marriage to Albert "Dean" Wall at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. One of the great adventures that Kay enjoyed was the fact that her marriage to Dean allowed her to live in so many different places including, Redding, CA, Madison and Milwaukee, WI, Lowden and Tipton, LA, Conway, AR as well as Scott, LA. Kay returned to Portage in 1995 and began a new chapter in her life as the manager of Fox Run Apartments. Kay had also been a teacher of a 1 room school house, worked as a clerk for a couple of retail stores and a customer service representative for a large cable company. Some of Kay's favorite things to do included cross stitching, reading, watching the birds, flowers and most of all she loved to take cruises with her family. Survivors include her Husband - Dean of Portage, 2 Daughters - Candy Wall of Portage and Tammy Chapman of Duson, LA; 2 Granddaughters - Holly Kay Elizabeth Wall and Haley Noel Stevens; Special family and friends - Patsy Kolman, Jeff and Karyn Wetzel and their family, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother - Al Marshall, JR. A Memorial service will be held in Briggsville, WI at the Lake Mason Campground Pavilion on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2pm.
