Allen "Big Al" John Stofflet, age 57, died unexpectedly on September 11, 2025. He was born October 31, 1967, to Loha Kuhn (Briggs-Stofflet) and Richard Stofflet, in Portage, WI.

Allen grew up in Pardeeville, WI, working most of his life in home construction. He started learning his skills early while working alongside his grandfather and uncles with Briggs Carpentry. Throughout the years he worked for A-1 Custom Homes, Berg Builders, and other area companies. He was always willing to help anyone if they needed something built or fixed.

He loved playing golf, video games, and rocking out while playing his guitar. He was also a huge fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.

Allen is survived by his mother, Loha Kuhn (Briggs- Stofflet); twin daughters, Elisha (Brandon) Cummings and Katrina (Tony) Ramirez; grandchildren, Thatcher and Syrus Cummings and Oliver, Mallorie, and Maisie Ramirez; niece, Laura (Chris) Stofflet-Chetney; great-nieces, Veronica and Penelope Stofflet-Chetney; his best friend/brother, JJ (Kim) Atkinson; aunts, Holly (Boyd) Wolfgram, Kristi (Glenn) Schmitz, and Laurie Briggs; uncle, Marty (Kim) Briggs; and other relatives and many friends.

Allen is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Stofflet; stepfather, Terry Kuhn; uncles, Ervin, James, and Gerry Briggs, and Fred Werla; aunt, Vicki Werla; and his father, Richard Stofflet.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 9, 2025, from 4-7 pm at Kratz funeral home in Portage, WI. Please wear your Brewer or Packer attire in his honor. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the family.
